Since the establishment of the JCI Senate in the early 1950s, JCI Senators have served as mentors and supporters of the current generation of young leaders and entrepreneurs that make up the JCI worldwide network. Separately we are individual past or present Members, but together we are close to 70,000 individuals with immense knowledge, experience and influence. Our leadership, when effectively harnessed can augment the recruitment efforts of our international, national and local networks of JCI Members.
The Illinois JCI Senate was the fourth state organization formed and it remains the greatest and largest state organization in the US JCI Senate.
To be presented with an Ambassadorship is the highest honor that one can receive in the state of Illinois. This honor signifies an individual's exceptional contribution to the Jaycee movement and can be presented on the state or chapter level.
