HELLO and WELCOME to the Lombard Jaycees Webiste!
We are VERY excited this new year! There is a renewed energy and a BIG desire to continue the good we do for our community and our members. This year we are Bearin’ Down in our chapter. What that means is we are going to focus our energies on our community and our members to give each everything that we can! It is a football theme with a Chicago twist (sorry all you Packer Fans out there!) Come on out and see what we are doing!
Our General Meetings are the 2nd Thursday of Every month (Except January and July- Due to the holidays this year-everything is pushed back 1 week) We meet at our clubhouse located at 376 E St. Charles Rd #22, Lombard in the old Icehouse building next to the post office. We are on the second floor.
We have SO MUCH PLANNED this trimester!
We are prepping our board for the new year with trainings, team buildings, and personality seminars.
Our Dinner club is meeting on January 31 at L. Mimi for some delicious Thai food at 1pm.
We are hosting a genealogy seminar on February 7th at 7:30pm at our clubhouse.
We also have our annual Pasta Dinner ($5 per person) on February 12 at 6:30pm followed IMMEDIATELY by our General Meeting at our clubhouse.
There is a Mardi Gras Night scheduled for February 20 at 6pm ($5/$10 per person depending on the package you choose) at our clubhouse.
Our Dinner club is meeting again on February 20th at Safari Flame and Grill at 6:30 pm.
There is a financial Well Being workshop on March 14th with our Individual Development Vice President Rachel B at 1pm at our clubhouse.
It is hard to believe that we have so much going on…and I know there are MORE PROJECTS in the works! WOW!
